Career
Throughout my professional journey, I have accumulated over two decades of expertise in Business Administration, encompassing a decade in public accounting and more than twelve years in corporate accounting. In addition to my extensive accounting background, I have also ventured into entrepreneurship, successfully establishing two start-up businesses. Over the past ten years, my focus has shifted towards Accounting Management, as well as spearheading business development and growth initiatives for small enterprises. As a strategic thinker, I am deeply passionate about fostering growth and delving into innovative opportunities within the business realm.
My goal at Reconciled Solutions is to bring my expertise to each Reconciled Solutions client and help our community of entrepreneurs to apply these principles to their small business so that they can take their financial performance to the next level. As an entrepreneur, I’ve experienced firsthand the struggles of starting a business from scratch.
As Accounting Manager for Reconciled Solutions, I manage work assignments and deliverables for our staff, and I am the communication point between our clients and bookkeepers. I boldly manage the big picture of client expectations and provide quality service to them.
Education and Certifications
I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Michigan State University in Accounting and have a certification in Business Management and Marketing from Harper College. I also have certifications in MS Dynamics, MS Office and Excel, Visual Basics, and I am a QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor. And for fun, I have a Fine Arts Degree from Auguste Escoffier in Culinary.
Personal Interests
I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes four kids and two grandkids. I love cooking both classic dishes and new recipes, and it brings a lot of joy to my friends and family. I also dabble in making fruit wine and different fruit cheeses, plus I collect unique tropical plants as a fun hobby. My biggest passions are exploring and traveling. I’m all about rugged outdoor adventures and challenging myself in tough conditions. I’ve traveled quite a bit, but there’s still so much more of the world to see!
